The 4 Hour Workday

I may create dedicated working hours for myself.

Like 4-6 hours every week day “in the office.”

Some reasons why:

The structure and routines will be good for me.

I often kind of “make up my day” as I go..

Dedicated hours will force me to get crystal clear on my tasks since I have limited time to complete them.

It’ll make me stop doing things other than work..

Just your normal distractions like googling random stuff..

Or turning on my favorite songs or videos..

Sometimes I stay on social media too long..

Stuff like that.

We’re going to cut out all that junk.

What this looks like is basically a 12-5 pm or 12-6 scenario..

Then gradually cut it down to 3-4 hours.

Makes sense instead of working 16 hour days to build my biz and then LATER trying to turn it into a 4 hour day business.

Now, you might ask - aren’t you the Damn Good Hustle girl?

Yes… and this is going to make me much better at hustling

No I’m not talking about street hustling..

I may be going to Colombia on Sunday but I’m not bringing back any hard drugs to sell you..

This is more like white suburban soccer mom hustling..

They have to do a bajillion things in a day..

And most people think hustle and grind = 12-18 hour work days

No! Hustling is about maximizing your time and efforts..

So if I only work 4 hours then I gotta pick up the pace..

Now I have more leisure time because I hustled extra hard during those 4 hours

I shut off all distractions and put the timer on

Versus wasting a lot more time and stretching out my work to 8 hours

So how will this look..

Here’s a tentative schedule..

Wake up anywhere from 7-10am

Write in my journal - possibly my “Kaizen” time where I read or go through a course

Exercise

Shower/eat and then work as non-stop as possible for a few hours..

Basic work tasks: Write my daily email, do client work, work on offers and content, build my list and Skool group..

Then I can log off and just be a regular person or something like that.

Just curious.. how do you structure your day?

What works best for you?

Hit reply and let me know.
