My 5 rules to write dang good emails 💌

All you need for high converting email copy...

Now that you know what a “damn good” email is…

And you know how important the first line is…

(Read my past 2 emails if you haven’t already)…

Now I want to actually show you how I write these emails..

So you can simply follow the “Sexy Email Formula”…

And get better results with your emails right away.

I follow these 5 rules every time I sit down to write a damn good email.

This is how I’ve helped generate millions for my clients through email alone.

Save these…

Live by them…

Use them to write copy that moves people.

Rule #1: Win the first 7 seconds.

You don’t want your email to be dead on arrival…

Because those first 7 seconds when someone sees you in their inbox…

Subject line —> Preview text —> First sentence…

…are everything.

It’s like that 3 second window where someone at the bar decides if they wanna “you know what” with you…

Don’t try to be clever.

Be clear, curious, or unexpected.

Nail the first few lines…

And your reader will give you the rest of their attention.

Miss it... and they’re gone.

Like that chick at the bar.

(Need help with this? I made you a free swipe doc complete with before & after examples. It’s here if you want it.)

Rule #2: Stop writing like a guest.

You’re not crashing the party…

You’re the one throwing it.

Too many emails sound like the writer is unsure they’re even allowed to be there.

You can feel it in their tone:

Overly polite…

Watered down…

“Just popping in real quick” vibes.

Stop writing like it’s an update from HR.

Kill the hesitation.

You’re in the inbox for a reason…

Act like it.

Lead with confidence & authority…

Don’t bring that “mommy is it ok if I do this?” energy.

Rule #3: One email has one idea, one mission, & one outcome.

This is the Rule of One in action.

Strong emails don’t chase 5 goals at once.

They go all in on a single message…

One clear point, one emotion, one next step.

Don’t try to say everything at once…

Go for depth, not width…

Give 4 reasons why something matters, go deep on one thing.

Make that point unmissable, undeniable, unforgettable.

Rule #4: Make it impossible to stop reading.

Your job is not to impress…

It’s to guide your audience.

From the first word to the final CTA…

Your email should feel like a slide…

Take your audience on a fun ride.

If a sentence doesn’t move the reader forward…

It’s gone.

Great copy is like gravity…

It pulls people down the page without effort.

The highest-converting emails don’t just inform...

They flow.

Rule #5: Write for the heart, not the brain.

Facts tell. Emotions sell.

And sexy emails?

They stir something deep within.

Not confusion, boredom or just “meh.”

We don’t do “meh” here in any way.

We’re going for desire, curiosity, clarity & momentum.

That’s the stuff that makes people act.

So stop writing to prove your value.

Stop apologizing for your existence.

Your mission is always worthy of the inbox.

Start writing to show them what’s possible…

…and what happens if they stay stuck.

If you follow these rules…

You’ll stop worrying about unsubscribes...

And start becoming someone your list actually wants to hear from.
