5 Subject Lines For Friday
These Subject Lines Caught My Eye This Week...
One of my favorite ways to get inspo for emails…
Ads… any kind of sales copy…
Or even just have more stuff to talk about with people:
Looking at which emails get my attention in my inbox.
So I picked a few that made me hit “open” the last few days…
And I’m gonna break them down for you in this email today.
And then I’d love to hear from YOU which subject lines caught your eye this week in your inbox.
Let’s get started:
“Would you want this?”
This one works well because the reader doesn’t know what’s inside…
It’s like Peter said in Family Guy: “A mystery box could be anything…”
Since I already open emails from this sender sometimes…
This subject line makes me curious what he’s talking about in this email.
“NEW VIDEO: Pass Sh*t Tests Like A Pro”
Any time you have a new piece of content, it’s a good idea to either capitalize it or put it in brackets (or both)…
You can do that in your subject line or at the beginning of a social media post.
“NEW VIDEO” already caught me eye.
Then the video title promises a solution to a big and common dating problem for guys...
This email is for guys who have a hard time dealing with attitude from girls.
It’s a brief and easy to understand title.
Know your audience’s biggest problems, be able to explain it simply and quickly, and promote new content in a way that grabs their attention.
“The Great Copywriting Reset”
Pretty straightforward, I’m a copywriter so copywriting-related emails can catch my eye.
Know what your audience is dealing with and what offers will help them.
This subject line is also kind of vague while alluding to something important… made me curious.
“i deleted 100M views of content. yikes.”
This one’s just kind of unusual coming from a viral TikTok creator.
Why did he do that?
He usually sends TikTok tips, so… is there a new method that he’s promoting now?
“Rachelle, it's time to switch your contacts.”
I just got a year’s supply of contacts about a month ago..
They actually have an automation set up to remind me to change my contacts from month to month!
Know how your audience uses your product and then remind them how to use it.. just next level effort that most businesses don’t do.
Now it’s your turn…
Send me an email with the subject lines that caught your eye this week.
