When to delay

The next few emails may be a bit more philosophical…

Just a few things I’ve thought about lately.

Less about “marketing strategy” or even tactics…

And more philosophy and mindset type stuff.

The first is… delay, delay, delay.

There’s a lot of pressure in business to make quick decisions…

In fact, your mentors will practically abuse you for dragging your feet…

Makes sense…

And most people drop out simply because they never make some critical decisions…

It kills the project.

But there are other times… dare I say most times…

You may want to delay.

If you are quick to anger or quick to rush to conclusions…

Especially in your personal life…

Then this may save you a lot of trouble.

Delay a response, a reaction, a decision…

So many snap judgments and knee jerk reactions happen in the moment…

When it would be better to SLOW DOWN and delay a response.

Any time you’re on an emotional high or low in business…

Do the same.

Otherwise you make decisions based on how you feel in the moment…

Instead of what’s best for your business or self.

This isn’t talked about enough.

Delay the decision.
