The Ghosts of Trauma Past

It’s nice to do a simple list swap this week…

Because Black Friday client work heated up…

Plus I’ve had some inbound prospects come in.

And I realized something important:

Some prospects have the budget and are easier to sell…

While others have a huge objection to overcome…

Even if you’re a coach in the health space, for example…

Because I’m not just talking about marketing agencies or freelancers.

In general:

Your prospect has seen it all, heard it all…

And worked with a bunch of people before you.

Other people took their $$ and didn’t get them results…

They’ve got “abusive exes.”

They have trust issues.

They’re traumatized.

Now all the baggage falls on you.

You gotta do damage control for someone else’s mistakes.

That’s more risk reversal…

More guarantees…

Faster, better claims than the industry standard…

You need to take on more risk than they do…

(Which is funny because you’ve probably got your own trauma)

This does take confidence in your skillset and ability to get results.

When you have a waitlist of people willing to pay you premium rates…

Then you can turn down anyone who doesn’t qualify…

Which includes the people too scared to pay upfront…

But you have to build up to that.

Right now I think a lot of people have to do damage control.

That’s normal and that’s just the way it is.

You accept it and move with it instead of fighting against it.

Let it be your challenge to overcome these objections..

So you can eventually charge premium rates to a waitlist.
