More than "just" a copywriter

A few years ago, being “just” a copywriter was all the rage.

Or just a media buyer…

Or just a video editor…

Whatever your service or craft was…

You could “simply” be that…

And get jobs…

And everybody was happy.

But then…

Perhaps because of market sophistication…

And/or because people want to sell you stuff…

It became “you need all these skillsets…”

Not just copywriting…

But also 5 other big skillsets at the same time.

We’re in the era of the “Three Ring Circus Copywriter…”

(don’t steal that, it’s mine)

And people get scared into thinking that you can’t simply be a copywriter…

Or again, whatever your service is…

And I want to disagree with that.

Mainly because I continue to build my freelance business…

And a lot of my business…

Or most of it…

…is pure copywriting.

Why?

Because businesses want folks who can do certain skills really well…

They respect that, and ask for it.

So they don’t want a copywriter focusing on other stuff…

They just want them to write copy.

Regardless of your skillset…

There’s no reason why you can’t still become a master at that skill…

And provide a service at high quality and high speed…

For a certain niche or type of businesses.

Because they’re out there looking for you.

And look at what the folks are selling to you who say otherwise.
