I am not your foot fetish guru

Got some great responses to my email yesterday…

About creating a structured work day for myself…

ANDDD… then there was that ONE response about feet…

Here were the normal, helpful ones…

From some very VIP and cherished subscribers:

“I had to do this a couple of years ago. Structure my day (actually my week) and create boundaries for myself. If I had 12 hours available to work, I’d find something to do in all of them.”

“I follow the Millionaire Morning Routine by Craig Ballantyne…

Wake up. Go pee. Put clothes on. Drink water. Walk to my office. Work 60-90 minutes on my most important task. Ideally this is something revenue generating.

This is before my first call or I answer any emails.

Proactive work first.”

Haha, the last responder works for Craig…

So he might get slapped if he doesn’t follow Craig’s routine!

Jk jk I’m so just kidding…

Which I actually need to say since people take my emails so damn seriously sometimes.

🙄

Ok then there was that one special response:

“how do i get pics of your clean soles?”

BRO.

My soles are always dirty…

And I’ve been nice to the few people who sometimes send me weird stuff..

But I might have to start unsubscribing the weirdos soon.

It was funny when you told me I should be the funky email queen and wear an afro wig…

Although obviously I would never actually do that…

But we’re taking it too far with the foot stuff.

Back to the actual discussion about schedules…

The first response brought up boundaries.

Yes I need to build those into my day.

A lot of people think discipline or willpower or strong boundaries is a natural talent or some sort of inherent moral trait…

But if you create a framework or structure for your behavior..

And simply stick to it and get back on track when you don’t…

Then you rely on a process and schedule instead of anything inside of you.

You don’t have to be strong or awesome or good at discipline!

That seems to be the big secret..

And I’ve been half on half off with it…

So it’s time to give myself (and the people around me) the gift of stronger boundaries.

Otherwise things can go haywire and chaotic and that’s not ideal for me.

The 2nd answer is great too… I love to get right to my daily email after I wake up.

I haven’t done that in awhile, these days I write them later in the day..

And my problem is if I don’t do “little things” before I start work…

Like workout, write in my journal, meditate, get a few minutes of sunlight..

Then they just won’t get done.

And some of these are important either for my health or to help me keep my mind in a good place.

So I’m gonna toy with giving myself those few hours of more personal stuff that make me a better performer..

And hopefully that gives me momentum to work really hard for a few hours in the afternoon.

We’ll see how it goes.

Definitely a good call to do your top one thing first and then go work out or whatever…

Or just get up and work hard for 4 hours and be done with your day.

Another thing that’s helpful for me that other people don’t necessarily do:

I’m a big believer in the power of keeping a journal..

And I enjoy the process of it regardless.

I’ve studied different methods and prompts for awhile..

And I plan to talk with my Skool group about this sometime before the New Year..

And do a 30 day journal challenge with them in January.

So I’d love to hear how YOU journal..

Because my writing process is still evolving..

Hit reply and let me know how you like to journal.
