“Going viral isn’t a strategy”
... oh really?
Lately I’ve seen a lot of posts on LinkedIn saying “going viral isn’t a strategy.”
But you know what’s also not a strategy…
Writing content and just hoping it works.
I’m amazed that all these LinkedIn posts are missing the point:
Going into platforms...
Studying high-performing content...
Analyzing what’s blowing up in your niche...
And infusing your own content with those patterns…
That is a strategy.
That’s not “hacking the algorithm,” friend.
That’s just what I call marketing.
It’s market research…
Messaging and positioning…
Pattern recognition.
The same way you’d study your competitors before launching a product...
You study your niche before dropping content.
So yeah, I’ve said “hope isn’t a strategy.”
But viral can be.
It’s not the whole puzzle.
But it’s a good piece…
And here’s why:
Because a post that hits 10k…
50k…
Or 100k+ views…
Can do more for your brand than six months of playing small.
You know what that means:
More clients and customers…
More leads…
More opportunities you didn’t even know were out there.
Sounds like you might want to make it a BIG part of your strategy.
